(hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) hereby establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as this “Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in connection with the services provided through this website (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”).
Article 1 (Personal Information)
“Personal Information” means “personal information” as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan. It refers to information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual through a name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, or other descriptions contained in such information.
Personal Information also includes data relating to physical appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and other information that can identify a specific individual by itself, such as an insurer number stated on a health insurance card (collectively referred to as “Personal Identification Codes”).
Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)
The Company may request users to provide Personal Information, including their name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver’s license number, when they register to use the Services.
The Company may also collect transaction records, payment-related information, and other information containing users’ Personal Information from the Company’s business partners, including information providers, advertisers, and advertising platforms (hereinafter referred to as “Business Partners”).
Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The Company collects and uses Personal Information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Services;
- To respond to inquiries from users, including verifying their identity;
- To send users emails regarding new features, updates, campaigns, and other information concerning the Services they currently use, as well as information regarding other services provided by the Company;
- To contact users when necessary regarding maintenance, important notices, and other matters;
- To identify users who have violated the Terms of Use or who attempt to use the Services for fraudulent, unlawful, or otherwise improper purposes, and to refuse their use of the Services;

- To charge users fees for paid services; and
- For purposes incidental to any of the purposes listed above.
Article 4 (Changes to the Purposes of Use)
- The Company may change the purposes for which Personal Information is used only when the revised purposes are reasonably considered to be related to the purposes before the change.
- If the Company changes the purposes of use, it shall notify users of the revised purposes through a method prescribed by the Company or publish the revised purposes on this website.
Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company shall not provide Personal Information to any third party without obtaining the user’s prior consent, except in the following circumstances or where otherwise permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations:
- When it is necessary to protect the life, physical safety, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned;
- When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned; or
- When the Company has notified users of, or publicly announced, the following matters in advance and has submitted the required notification to the Personal Information Protection Commission: ・That the purposes of use include the provision of Personal Information to third parties; ・The categories of data to be provided to third parties; ・The means or methods by which the information will be provided to third parties; ・That the provision of Personal Information to third parties will be discontinued upon the request of the individual concerned; and ・The method by which requests from the individual concerned will be accepted.
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the recipient of the information shall not be regarded as a third party in any of the following circumstances: ・When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of Personal Information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use; ・When Personal Information is provided as part of a business succession resulting from a merger or other circumstances; or ・When Personal Information is jointly used with a specified party, provided that the individual concerned has been notified in advance, or the information has been made readily accessible to the individual, regarding the fact that the information will be jointly used, the categories of Personal Information subject to joint use, the scope of the parties jointly using the information, the purposes of use of those parties, and the name of the person or entity responsible for managing the Personal Information.
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
When the Company receives a request from an individual for the disclosure of their Personal Information, the Company shall disclose such information to the individual without delay.
However, the Company may decline to disclose all or part of the information if disclosure would fall under any of the following circumstances. If the Company decides not to disclose the information, it shall notify the individual of that decision without delay.
A processing fee of JPY 1,000 shall be charged for each disclosure request.
- When disclosure may harm the life, physical safety, property, or other rights or interests of the individual concerned or a third party;
- When disclosure may significantly interfere with the proper operation of the Company’s business; or
- When disclosure would otherwise violate any applicable law or regulation. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Company will not, in principle, disclose information other than Personal Information, including historical and characteristic information.
Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
- If a user’s Personal Information held by the Company is inaccurate, the user may request that the Company correct, supplement, or delete such information (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Corrections”) in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company.
- If the Company determines that it is necessary to comply with a request made under the preceding paragraph, it shall make the Corrections without delay.
- When the Company makes Corrections pursuant to the preceding paragraph or decides not to make the requested Corrections, it shall notify the user of its decision without delay.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use, etc.)
- If an individual requests the suspension of use or deletion of their Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use, etc.”) on the grounds that the information has been handled beyond the scope of the stated purposes of use or was obtained through improper means, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay. If the Company determines, based on the results of the investigation described in the preceding paragraph, that it is necessary to comply with the request, it shall carry out the Suspension of Use, etc. of the relevant Personal Information without delay.
- When the Company carries out a Suspension of Use, etc. pursuant to the preceding paragraph or decides not to comply with the request, it shall notify the user of its decision without delay.
- Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if the Suspension of Use, etc. would involve substantial expense or would otherwise be difficult to carry out, and alternative measures can be taken to protect the user’s rights and interests, the Company shall implement such alternative measures.
Article 9 (Changes to this Privacy Policy)
